As it turns out, life happened causing me to cancel my 30-day challenge. There were some major life changes that occurred interrupting me this time around. In the end, they will probably make things better.

Day 7 of April Challenge

April 7th, 2011 No comments

Seven days in… Up to this point it has been challenging to get into the ’30-day’ mode. I have been looking this daily, but my activity has not been what I expected of myself.

Although my mailings have been going out daily, I have not gotten into the routine I need to support all of the the list builders I have decided to  use. For now I am still deciding which ones to focus on; I’m getting close…. Read more…

30-Day Challenge – Day 30

December 15th, 2010 1 comment

Looking at this today, this came so quickly. For the past month almost each day had some activity that builds my business. As a result of this, the 30 days went by so fast. I have learned many things about traffic and traffic exchanges. When I review my activities I know I will find ways to improve efficiency and productivity. For now it’s time to start a much needed vacation. Until the next time….

Results: 100 clicks in 13 exchanges and processed email for safelist mailings.

30-Day Challenge – Day 29

December 14th, 2010 No comments

If the other 28 days started like this one… What an awesome surf day. I was up and at it O’dark thirty–for me better known as 5.00 a.m. Everything went flawlessly. I guess by this time it pretty much should. When I first started I was only surfing at 5 exchanges, but as the days went on I was able to add more and more. Now it’s nothing for me to use 12 at once. I also finished before leaving for work.

Results: 100 clicks in 12 exchanges and processed emails for safelist mailings.

30-Day Challenge – Day 28

December 13th, 2010 No comments

Just keep moving forward. As this winds down, I am starting to reflect on the past month. For the most part things went well. I think about some instructions I was given by Jeff Olsen: “Plan, Do, Review”.  The planning part got me started almost a month ago. The ‘Do’ part was the daily activity up to now. Now comes the review. What went well? What went not so well? What has this taught me? How can I improve the next go-round? I certainly do have some ideas. We’ll see what happens.

Results: 100 clicks in 12 exchanges and 2 safelist mailings.

30-Day Challenge – Day 27

December 12th, 2010 No comments

Still going… Uneventful session today. As I see this winding down I am having to make sure I don’t become complacent. As I’ve several times, it has been rewarding in that it has enforce discipline on building an online business. It has shown me that the day-to-day activity is what truly matters. In the months leading up to this I had bought and spent thousands of traffic exchange credits with very little success. These days I am using fewer credits, but getting better results. It’s day-to-day activity. Till tomorrow…

30-Day Challenge – Day 26

December 11th, 2010 No comments

Yesterday and today were days that really showed me what commitment to oneself is. I woke up with a really stiff neck. I’m not sure whether it was from sleeping wrong, stress from work, or too much time in front of the computer. What I do know is I could barely move my head or turn it. A part of me wanted to excuse me from surfing–and almost did–but I made a commitment to myself that for thirty days I would do this. But I kept remember this quote I’ve heard. Read more…
